Fred and Denise are back for another season. We are excited to meet all of you that make the restaurant part of your summer vacation and those of you that live here on Hatteras Island.
The Froggy Dog Restaurant & Pub has been a Hatteras Island tradition for years and we aim to keep it that way! Our focus is on providing stellar customer service and a menu where everything is made fresh.

We are located in Avon (historically named Kinnakeet), North Carolina. We serve breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week. You haven’t lived until you have tried our Froggy Dog Wings with our own homemade sauce, it is the best you can get. Plus, you won’t want to miss The Froggy Dog signature items – Hot Pancakes at breakfast and our amazing burgers at lunch. Come try our Captain’s Burger, a half pound burger topped with crabmeat and cheese. After you check out our Menu we are positive you will visit us soon!
