Her gallery also features functional and decorative pottery by other regional potters, and several new artists have been added this year. Kinnakeet Clay is also the home of Mugglies by CatFish Pottery.Though it’s mainly a pottery shop, you’ll also find wall art (prints, paintings and photography), textiles (aprons, skirts, tea towels), wood carvings and jewelry and more for home decor and self-adornment. Kinnakeet Clay’s new, larger location features a pottery studio so you’ll almost always catch someone making pots or working with clay. A variety of classes is offered by Kinnakeet Clay’s artists-in-residence; call for the schedule. There’s also a fresh cut flower market where you can buy flowers by the stem to brighten up your rental house or just your day. Kinnakeet Clay is open seven days a week during the summer.
